...worth $20,000?
The geeks posting on The Comics Journal message board don't seem to think so...
"A printing plate of the pic Wally Wood drew for The Realist, featuring the better part of he Disney stable in flagrante delicto -- hurry up, it's only available for another day or so..."
"That's amazing!"
"Its amazing that they want $20k for it."
"I imagine that you should be able to buy the original drawing for less than they're asking for that printing plate."
"This is a WALLY WOOD, my friend, what do you expect?!"
"I would expect a Wally Wood to go for much, much less. Wally Wood original art seems to sell for not much over over $1,000. So considering this is not an original piece of art but just a printing plate, the price seems very wrong."
UPDATE, 4/26/04: The item got no bids.

Parents Pull Students Out Of Band Trip
Some members of a Nebraska high school band won't be going to Disney World because their parents say they don't want them exposed to homosexuals.
The Kearney High School band is traveling to Disney in June, but after some parents found out the trip is scheduled during the annual Gay Days, they have pulled their children out of the trip.
Band instructors say only a few students have pulled out of the trip to Orlando because of Gay Days, but gay rights advocates say it is a big deal.
May Danny's Land point out the obvious and suggest that if the bigots, er, parents don't want their children exposed to homosexuals, they should just pull them out of the band?

Where do you suppose the worst seat on this rotating restaurant was? Near the kitchen? Near the bathroom? Hmm...

In our never-ending search for new ways to rearrange subcultures for the benefit of mankind, Danny's Land recently found the intersection between Winter Guards (indoor drum corps and choreography) with Disneyland soundtrack collectors. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome (DRUM ROLL) Trevor Miller!
